Welcome to Teach All Nations Mission

Teach All Nations Mission (TAN) is a global evangelical educational ministry birthed from the teaching ministries of Delron and Peggy Shirley.  The name Teach All Nations Mission was chosen to carefully indicate exactly what the heart of Delron and Peggy’s mission is.

TAN’s commitment is to establish a solid foundation in the national pastors and leaders so that they can help enrich the people. The vision is Christian teaching materials (in English and the local languages) in printed form and on audio and video, providing scholarships to Christian colleges and Bible schools for promising students, assisting in establishing and building of Bible schools, and broadcasting via the internet, radio, and television.

Daily Ditties

I grew up with the Carolina colloquialism of a ditty being any short, pithy saying or writing. There is one for each day of your life. As you read them, I hope they are interesting and inspiring.

TAN Mission Report June 2025-  Myanmar Report – 2025

Just days before Delron was leaving for Liberia to dedicate the clinic, we received news of a massive earthquake that struck Myanmar that took over sixteen hundred lives – a “double whammy” for the nation that is already suffering from the military takeover and subsequent civil war which has taken over five thousand lives over the past four years.  International relief efforts were slow in getting started because of the military junta’s reluctance to grant permission.  Fortunately, the regime soon loosed their grip and even granted a temporary ceasefire, providing a window of opportunity for local and international organizations – including Teach All Nations and our in-country ministry partner – opportunity to respond.  Unfortunately, the military government did not uphold their offer of a ceasefire and continued their attacks and even bombings while the people were suffering from the devastating earthquake.

Teach All Nations has had a strong presence in Myanmar for over three decades – having held many training conferences there over the years and having sponsored the construction of a church and Bible college in the country’s former capital city of Yangon.  When we contacted the pastor that we support there to ask about his safety and the impact that the earthquake had had upon his congregation, he replied that his home had sustained considerable damage but that he wanted to help others before receiving anything for himself.  Because of the generosity of our partners, we were able to provide short-term help for a hundred and twenty victims of the disaster (including food, sanitary supplies, blankets, and mosquito repellant) and do the necessary repairs on the pastor’s home.

Meditation June 2025 – Chapter Fourteen – Knowing Our Enemy

Paul said that he didn’t shadow box or box against the wind. (I Corinthians 9:26)  We know the story of little Peter who cried “Wolf!” and all the men of the town would come out prepared to fight the wolf.  After he cried “Wolf!” so many times, the men no longer heeded his cry.  When the wolf really did come, Peter and his sheep were all damaged or killed because there was a real wolf.  There is a real enemy we have to fight against, and we do have to prepare ourselves to fight.

The first thing we need to recognize is that there is a devil called Satan.  Most of the time, we don’t actually fight against the devil himself.  He is the commander and chief, and we are fighting against his soldiers, who are called demons.

Occasionally, we need to fight against natural forces in the world when these natural forces are under demonic control.  The classic example of the authority of the Spirit exercised through a believer would be when Pat Robertson saw a hurricane coming in from the ocean headed right toward his Christian television station in Virginia Beach.  Standing on the sands of the Atlantic Coast, he pointed his finger toward the ocean and commanded the hurricane to be turned back.  The hurricane immediately turned eastward into the ocean instead of coming to the land!

Many times, we have to fight against disease.  Disease may be a natural force, but it may be under demonic control.  God has placed everything in the universe for a purpose.  After He created the universe, He said, It is good. (Genesis 1:25)  He created bacteria and called them good.
