Welcome to Teach All Nations Mission

Teach All Nations Mission (TAN) is a global evangelical educational ministry birthed from the teaching ministries of Delron and Peggy Shirley.  The name Teach All Nations Mission was chosen to carefully indicate exactly what the heart of Delron and Peggy’s mission is.

TAN’s commitment is to establish a solid foundation in the national pastors and leaders so that they can help enrich the people. The vision is Christian teaching materials (in English and the local languages) in printed form and on audio and video, providing scholarships to Christian colleges and Bible schools for promising students, assisting in establishing and building of Bible schools, and broadcasting via the internet, radio, and television.

Help Save Lives in Liberia

Support Project C.U.R.E. & Teach All Nations Ministries

Join us in making a life-saving impact for the Quessemba Clinic in Liberia.  Our mission is to send critical medical supplies and equipment to this new clinic, where countless lives are at stake due to a lack of essential resources.  The Quessemba Clinic will serve as a lifeline for thousands of people in Liberia, a region facing numerous health challenges.  This newly built clinic is ready to be occupied and medical personnel are ready to report to duty; but, there are no supplies or equipment – not even a stethoscope!   Since the nearest clinic is many miles away on a road that is impassable during the rainy season and treacherous during the rest year, many patients die before they can reach medical assistance.  Will you help us prevent this needless loss of life by equipping this new clinic that will serve the villages that are scattered throughout this remote area.  Thousands of people are depending upon our help to get this facility up and running to save lives and better their living conditions.

Project C.U.R.E. has partnered with Teach All Nations by providing a full 40-foot shipping container filled with all the needed supplies to fully equip this hospital – valued at approximately $400,000.  Currently we need to raise $30,000 to get the supplies from the warehouse here in the US to the village in the remote region of Liberia.

Every dollar you donate brings us one step closer to our goal of transforming healthcare in Liberia. Your generosity will have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of those who need it most.

Together, we can help save lives and bring hope to the people of Liberia. Please consider making a donation today to support Teach All Nations Ministries and Project C.U.R.E. in this life-saving mission. Your compassion can make a world of difference in the lives of those who are suffering. Thank you for being a part of this humanitarian effort.

Daily Ditties

I grew up with the Carolina colloquialism of a ditty being any short, pithy saying or writing. There is one for each day of your life. As you read them, I hope they are interesting and inspiring.

TAN Mission Report May 2024 – Behind the Quran Curtain

Our return visit to this Muslim-majority country allowed us to revisit many of the brothers and sisters that we ministered to and with last year in the nation’s two largest cities.  The country’s constitution technically ensures religious freedom; therefore, we were able to freely minister among the established Christian population which has historic roots in the nation.  On the other hand, the constitution also contains anti-conversion laws which prohibit evangelism; therefore, we had to be very guarded in everything that we said and did when outside the confines of a Christian establishment such as a church or the home of a Christian family.  In addition to the anti-conversion regulations, the general demeanor of the people is that they consider Christianity a threat and often respond violently against any statements or actions that promote the faith.  However, neither laws nor public opinion stops the believers we are associated with from cautiously sharing their faith and winning souls into the kingdom through discrete encounters and strategically orchestrated outreaches.  In fact, a several of the team have suffered martyrdom and the leader was attacked, severely beaten, and left for dead on the trash heap.  There is no way that we can put into words what kind of impact these testimonies have upon our lives and ministries every time we have the opportunity to be with them.  On this particular trip, one of the meetings was held in an area which is controlled by a volatile terrorist group.  Although extreme caution was observed with armed security guards visible at all times and plainclothesmen scattered among the audience plus snipers stationed on the rooftops of the surrounding buildings to ensure that none of the American guests would be captured and held for a ransome, we had a capacity crowd of more than a thousand with participants sitting on the stairs leading to the balcony and the floor in front of the stage.

Meditation May 2024 – The Fuel, The Fire, The Furnace

Let’s revisit the analogy of the furnace again – this time with a more focused interest on what actually happens inside the furnace itself.

After moving from the sunny Carolinas to the cold, northern regions of Indiana, my wife and I decided that we wanted a fireplace in our home.  The fireplace we purchased was highly engineered with the best technology to overcome all the problems that you have with regular fireplaces.  A regular fireplace will actually cool the room rather than heat.  The burning wood consumes oxygen, so it pulls air out of the room into the fireplace.  When the wood is burning, the hot air goes up the chimney.  Therefore, there is a constant draft of cold air out of the room flowing into the fireplace to burn the wood while the hot air goes out the chimney.  In fact, winged-back chairs were invented so that people could be shielded from the flow of cold air while sitting in front of the fire.  To prevent this chilling draft, our fireplace had a glass door to keep the air in the room from being drawn into the fireplace.  Instead of being supplied with oxygen from the room, this unit had ducts that ran outside the house and pulled in external air.  It also had vents on the side and little fans to blow the hot air out of the fireplace back in the room.  Around the chimney were heat coils to capture the heat before it escaped up the chimney.  The coils then warmed air, which was blown through the vents into the house.  In theory, this highly technological system was going to give us all kinds of wonderful heat just by throwing a few logs onto the fire.
