Most of our newsletters focus on our in-person ministry around the world with an occasional testimony from ministries that we financially support such as last month’s report on the earthquake relief project in Myanmar. However, this month, we’d like to share about another substantial division of the ministry of Teach All Nations – our publications. Isaiah 52:7 says that those who publish the gospel have “beautiful feet”; therefore, we assume that we must have really goodlooking feet since our website lists sixty-two books that Delron and Peggy have authored – and that doesn’t include all the translations of our materials that are available in a number of languages. This month, we’d like to take a few minutes to share with you a few comments that we have received from those who have been impacted by these publications.
We have heard from some of the donors who receive the monthly Daily Ditties from Delron’s Desk which accompany their thank you letters that they share the booklets with friends and co-workers. One gentleman says that he uses them for discussion with his Bible study group. Another partner mentioned that he has a several-years-old edition of the annual edition of the Ditties that it reminds him of the many years of Christian fellowship and brotherhood that we have shared together. Other readers have commented that they are excited that we have made our books available for free to all the participants at our conferences and through the church-based libraries we have opened in Nepal and India. In addition to the publications that Teach All Nations directly distributes, two other ministries that disciple believers and train pastors make our materials available to the students who go through their courses. Joshua Nations makes our entire inventory of books available to their students in digital format, and Global Action provides printed copies of selected books to all their graduates in their national languages.
We frequently receive notes saying that the lessons are both informative and interesting and that they speak to their immediate needs. One young man who read one of our books while hospitalized wrote, “I wanted to share with you how encouraged I was through your book. I was on a short walk for rehabilitation purposes and felt pretty defeated and alone. The following day, I felt led to relax a bit and read your book. As I read, I felt as if God Himself was speaking to me about what I was going through. I was deeply inspired, enlightened with the Lord’s love and reassurance. Your explanation and teaching are eye-opening. It was so powerful; I immediately felt that the truth had set me free!”
We invite you to visit the bookstore to see all the books that are available. Perhaps there is one that will impact you as this one did our friend. Also, please remember that for your donation this month, we would send you a free copy of the August issue of Dailly Ditties from Delron’s Desk.
