When Delron was in Nigeria in September for CLASSIIIC, Dr Bakare invited him and Peggy to come back in November to help celebrate his seventieth birthday. When Delron had to decline the invitation since it conflicted with their upcoming mission to Honduras, Dr. Bakare suggested an alternative, that they come to London where he had scheduled a conference for all the former members of his church in Lagos whose careers and ministries had taken them out of the country. This conference was not only a reunion of the scattered members of his flock but also a celebration of his birthday and fortieth wedding anniversary. Realizing that this opportunity was actually the fulfillment of a desire that Dr. Bakare had expressed many years before – that Delron would be able to travel throughout the United Kingdom and minster to those who were living there. Now, rather than visiting multiple cities and preaching in several churches, they would all be assembled in on central location. The conference brought together approximately a hundred political office holders, businessmen, pastors, professors, and students from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Nigeria and Australia for a week of reunion and instruction. Using the event to release his most recent book, Your Part in the Grand Scheme of Things, Delron taught from the book and presented a complimentary copy to each attendee. Peggy’s encouraged everyone to become more sensitive to the spiritual needs of the people that they meet as they go about their daily lives and demonstrated her point by leading the front desk clerk of the hotel to the Lord during the conference.
