Welcome to Teach All Nations Mission

Teach All Nations Mission (TAN) is a global evangelical educational ministry birthed from the teaching ministries of Delron and Peggy Shirley.  The name Teach All Nations Mission was chosen to carefully indicate exactly what the heart of Delron and Peggy’s mission is.

TAN’s commitment is to establish a solid foundation in the national pastors and leaders so that they can help enrich the people. The vision is Christian teaching materials (in English and the local languages) in printed form and on audio and video, providing scholarships to Christian colleges and Bible schools for promising students, assisting in establishing and building of Bible schools, and broadcasting via the internet, radio, and television.

Help Save Lives in Liberia

Support Project C.U.R.E. & Teach All Nations Ministries

Join us in making a life-saving impact for the Quessemba Clinic in Liberia.  Our mission is to send critical medical supplies and equipment to this new clinic, where countless lives are at stake due to a lack of essential resources.  The Quessemba Clinic will serve as a lifeline for thousands of people in Liberia, a region facing numerous health challenges.  This newly built clinic is ready to be occupied and medical personnel are ready to report to duty; but, there are no supplies or equipment – not even a stethoscope!   Since the nearest clinic is many miles away on a road that is impassable during the rainy season and treacherous during the rest year, many patients die before they can reach medical assistance.  Will you help us prevent this needless loss of life by equipping this new clinic that will serve the villages that are scattered throughout this remote area.  Thousands of people are depending upon our help to get this facility up and running to save lives and better their living conditions.

Project C.U.R.E. has partnered with Teach All Nations by providing a full 40-foot shipping container filled with all the needed supplies to fully equip this hospital – valued at approximately $400,000.  Currently we need to raise $30,000 to get the supplies from the warehouse here in the US to the village in the remote region of Liberia.

Every dollar you donate brings us one step closer to our goal of transforming healthcare in Liberia. Your generosity will have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of those who need it most.

Together, we can help save lives and bring hope to the people of Liberia. Please consider making a donation today to support Teach All Nations Ministries and Project C.U.R.E. in this life-saving mission. Your compassion can make a world of difference in the lives of those who are suffering. Thank you for being a part of this humanitarian effort.

Daily Ditties

I grew up with the Carolina colloquialism of a ditty being any short, pithy saying or writing. There is one for each day of your life. As you read them, I hope they are interesting and inspiring.

TAN Mission Report December 2024 – A Year of Great Accomplishments

As we close out the year of 2024, we are amazed at all that the Lord has done in our lives. Let’s begin on the personal level by sharing that we were able to mark one of the major entrees of Delron’s “bucket list” – the Aurora Borealis. During our family Thanksgiving dinner last year, Delron brought up the fact that he was hoping to mark off at least one of the items on my “bucket list” during the coming year. When he mentioned that the next item was to see the Aurora Borealis, the whole family got excited and, before the end of the day, we had booked a family trip to Alaska for January – intending to brave the sub-zero weather with determination to go during the best season for possible sightings. Soon, we had all arranged our schedules for the trip and had invested in appropriate gear for the arctic adventure. But, two days before our departure, there was a major incident with one of the Alaskan Airline planes – a portion of the fuselage fell off during flight! Of course, this malfunction resulted in the grounding of the entire fleet, canceling all our plans. In what seemed almost like a compensation, Colorado was hit with an arctic storm that same weekend, giving me a chance to try out my subzero-weather-rated clothing, and the AV department at our church chose scenes of the Aurora Borealis as the background for the projection of the words to the songs during praise and worship that Sunday. Even though we were all extremely disappointed, there was a lesson to be learned. We had been praying for clear weather so that we would be able to see the aroura when we got to Alaska, but we had never prayed that we would actually be able to get there! After all, who would ever have dreamed that our plane might fall apart? The lesson – be specific in your prayers and let the Holy Spirit direct your prayers when you don’t know exactly how you should be praying. (Romans 8:26-28) In a funny twist, a couple months later, I found an error in the Readers Digest explanation of one of the words in its “Word Power” list. The sentence that they used to

illustrate the usage of "lucently" stated that people who live near the North and South Pole can see the aurora borealis lucently. Actually, the people at the South Pole can only see the Aurora Australis. This mistake reiterated the fatality of assuming rather than knowing the truth. Later in the year, we decided to change plans and go to Iceland on a family trip in hopes of seeing the Northern Lights from there. The Lord granted us favor by allowing us to see the celestial display three nights in a row – something that the locals say is extremely rare. In addition, they also told us that they had not seen the lights for weeks prior to our arrival!

Meditation December 2024 –Seeking the Glory of the Nations

When Jesus confronted the devil during the Temptation, one of the challenges that Satan put before the Lord was an offer of all the kingdoms of the earth and their glory. (Matthew 4:8)  Jesus, of course, refused to take what was rightfully His as an offer from the enemy because He knew that He would receive it legitimately through His obedience to the cross.  Furthermore, He knew the promise of Psalm 102:15 that the heathen nations are to fear the name of the LORD and all the kings of the earth honor the Lord’s glory.  In fact, one of the significant promises of the end time is that the glory of the Lord will be revealed throughout the earth (Habakkuk 2:14) and that the glory of the nations will be given over to the kingdom of God (Revelation 21:24, 26).  Revelation 7:9 and 15:4 depict a time when people of every nation, kindred, people, and tongue will stand before the throne of God and worship Him.  Revelation 11:15 further confirms that every nation will eventually become part of the divine kingdom.  Twice in chapter twenty-one, the prophet predicted that the rulers of the nations will bring their glory and honor into the kingdom of God. (Revelation 21:24, 21:26)

John Piper made an excellent summation of God’s plan for the human race when he said that mission exists because worship doesn’t.  In other words, the ultimate goal of church is to bring the message of the kingdom to every nation and people group so that they can join in voluntary praise to their Creator and Redeemer.  At that point, the total purpose of human history will be fulfilled.  When the early church leaders were trying to make sense of what had happened in and through the life of Jesus and the establishment of this new faith, they drew upon an Old Testament reference (Amos 9) that essentially brought them to the same conclusion as Dr. Piper.

And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. (Acts 15:15-17)

The reference to the tabernacle of David speaks of a special tent that the king constructed in Jerusalem to house the Ark of the Covenant when he brought it back after the Philistines had captured it.

Meditation September 2020 – David

God asked one requirement of Solomon when He established him on the throne of his father David – that he walk according to the legacy that his father had established. (I Kings 3:14, 9:4, 11:38) However, Solomon failed to do so (I Kings 11:6) and set in motion a...
