“Sawadeka,” the traditional Thai welcome rang out from all the ladies as they greeted Linda Easton and me each day during our mission to their nation. We had traveled to Southeast Asia at the request of Dr. Buachab Ronghanam, the national director for Every Home for Christ in Thailand. Our mission was to host women’s conferences for the leadership in her region.
Our first stop was in Chang Mai, center for much of the Christian ministry that goes on in the nation of Thailand. By ministering to the key leaders there, we were actually able to impact the entire nation as the women from the ministries based in the city would take the message to other parts of the country through their various ministries. Since these key leaders were hungry to be taught more about how women can become increasingly fruitful in the ministry, we had arranged to not only minister to them in the conference, but to also provide a free copy of my book Women for the Harvest in their Thai language to each participant. Day after day, we poured into them, teaching topics about the women in the Bible who were great evangelists and the anointing and need for the baptism in the Holy Spirit and many more.
